Counselling is a talking journey.

It is something you can take at your own pace and talk about only what you want to say.

Talking has long been known to be a way of relieving pent up emotions, but often talking to family and friends is difficult. Sometimes they are part of the problem and you don’t want to hurt their feelings, or perhaps you just don’t want them to know.

In counselling, you talk to someone who is not involved in the same way, who won’t be upset by what you say and who won’t call you to account for anything you have done.

The talking helps you to get your thoughts more organised and see things freshly.

Finding the right therapist for you is really important.

“Caroline helped me through a difficult, stressful few months after moving to Lincoln. She was very understanding and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with stress and depression or any other emotional problems.”

- Chris, Lincoln.
